BRINGING POSITIVE CHANGE TO OUR COMMUNITY
MISS BLACK FRAYSER

The Story Behind:
Miss Frayser: The Community Advocate
Miss Frayser wasn’t given to me, it was chosen by me. During a pageant, I was asked to pick a stage name, and I wanted a title that uplifted my community. That’s when I chose ‘Miss Black Frayser.’ Though I later stepped away from the pageant, my mission never changed. Instead, I fully embraced my role as a self-proclaimed advocate and ambassador for North Memphis’ Frayser community. I AM Miss Frayser, and I will continue to be a voice for us!

2025 Agenda as a Voice for Frayser

MEET,

Hi, Im Brilann Coleman
I am a 23yr old southern city girl born and raised in Memphis TN. I am the CEO and founder of the BSOY Foundation a nonprofit organization I founded when I was 15 years old. I have a degree in Sociology with a certification in Music Business and Mental Illness & Psychology, as well as being trained and certified in Adverse Childhood Trauma.
My family and I have resided in the Frayser area of Memphis for the past 12+ years. I chose to represent Frayser because this is where my file peaked we moved to Frayser when I was 11 years old so I have spent the most influential and vital years of my life in the community and it has truly shaped me into who I am today. I want to show people Frayser is more than the bad news clips you see we are a growing community with so many positive attributes that you don't get to see.
So I vowel to put Frayser back on the map for the amazing things we do!!! #FeelinFrayser #MissFrayser
